    As a man who spent many parts of childhood in the southern Catskills, and who recently discovered the Slide Mountain Wilderness, including Giant Ledge, I’ve always considered this area as the most beautiful in my mind.     My name is Jesse and I’m going to propose to my girlfriend soon, likely next Sunday or the following weekend in the Catskills at the summit of Giant Ledge.
