The Liberty House, in Jersey City, is another personal favorite, as the views of the NYC skyline can't be beat. Daytime weddings are filled with gorgeous natural light, while evening affairs are romantic and absolutely stunning. Ceremonies can be held indoors, or outdoors in a beautiful garden setting.
I photographed this shot just a few hundred yards away from the venue. I have no problem traveling from point A to B to C to create a diverse group of beautiful photos on a wedding day, but when you keep all locations close to one another, it maximizes my clients' time and allows them to spend less time "working as models", and more time engaging with family and friends! It's wonderful when a client allows me plenty of time to get creative and work my magic, but the last thing I ever want is to take them away from their wedding reception. As most people know, it goes by SO quickly, and I want my clients to enjoy every last second of their wedding day. With that said, I'm fully accustomed to thinking quickly, working on my feet, and executing gorgeous imagery in a small amount of time...It's the nature of the industry!
